Free Fire’s (FF) Chrono character has always been in talks since its release after the OB25 update (December 2020 update) because of its overpowered special ability. It took developers around four months to realize the unfairness this new character caused to the players not having Chrono character. But after realization, with the OB27 update (April 2021) update, developers nerfed the character to provide a balanced gameplay experience.
Even after the Chrono’s nerf in April 2021, the feedback from players did not satisfy the developers because the character was still overpowered compared to other in-game characters. Considering the same, after almost 6 months, the character is again going to get some changes in its special skill, and obviously, it is getting nerfed again.
The upcoming OB30 update is going to bring some changes to Chrono’s special ability in a move towards fair gameplay experience to the players. Below are the changes being made to the character’s ability in September 2021.
Current Ability (Time Turner):
At level 1, it creates a force field that blocks 600 damages from enemies. One can fire at outside foes from within the force field. Movement speed increases by 5%. All effects last for 3s. CD 200s.

So after the upcoming OB30 update, the Time Turner Active skill of Chrono character will have following effects:
Level 1: Creates a force field that blocks 600 damages from enemies. One can fire at outside foes from within force field. Movement speed increases by 5%. All effects last for 2.5s. CD 210s
Level 2: Creates a force field that blocks 600 damages from enemies. One can fire at outside foes from within force field. Movement speed increases by 7%. All effects last for 3.5s. CD 202s
Level 3: Creates a force field that blocks 600 damages from enemies. One can fire at outside foes from within force field. Movement speed increases by 9%. All effects last for 4.5s. CD 195s
Level 4: Creates a force field that blocks 600 damages from enemies. One can fire at outside foes from within force field. Movement speed increases by 11%. All effects last for 5.5s. CD 189s
Level 5: Creates a force field that blocks 600 damages from enemies. One can fire at outside foes from within force field. Movement speed increases by 13%. All effects last for 6.5s. CD 184s
Level 6: Creates a force field that blocks 600 damages from enemies. One can fire at outside foes from within force field. Movement speed increases by 15%. All effects last for 7.5s. CD 180s
